SCULPTURE IN SUZHOU

MODERN CHINESE SCULPTURE

Our stroll to the Convention Centre takes us through many examples of sculpture art. Considerable thought is given to the type of images portrayed and where they are located. Overall, I am quite impressed with the selections displayed in the various public arenas.

Just the kind of  twang for a jangle on a bangle.
Maybe Floriade will acquire inspiration from this floral gesture.
The crimson dress swirling in the wind.
The changing fan
The fan reveals a dress.
Is this the Yellow Peril?
Perhaps this is the the yellow moth!
Or is this the Yellow Chinese Wheel minus tyre?
Setting sail.
Or Tear Drops!
Reflections in a Tear Drop.
Gymnasts in the Park
Just checking.
A few birdies gathered in the Lake.
May I have this Dance?
There is some good tucker here.
Reflective moments for Flamingos.
